With the current Covid-19 pandemic still happening across the world, it started to become a little passe and culturally out of touch to continue having the game be about an infection that has affected the lives of so many, which is why developers Ndemic Creations decided to flip the game on its head.

Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has said that the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S have had “the largest launch in Xbox history.”

Writing on Twitter, Spencer added that over a 24-hour period there were “more new consoles sold, in more countries, than ever before.” No figures have been given so far, but we know that the Xbox One was previously the most successful Xbox launch, with more than a million units sold on launch day.
