Forces Unite!’ Now Available in Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines

Garena, in collaboration with manga publisher Kodansha, has announced that FAIRY TAIL: Forces Unite! is now available for download in Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

The free-to-play mobile RPG is based on the popular Japanese manga series FAIRY TAIL by Hiro Mashima that was originally serialised in the weekly Shonen Magazine published by Kodansha.

Published from August 2006 to July 2017, the manga follows the adventures of Natsu Dragneel, a member of the popular wizard guild Fairy Tail, as he searches the fictional world of Earth-land for the dragon Igneel.

Esports Athletes Lead A Healthier Lifestyle Than You Might Think

Contrary to popular belief, a study conducted by the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) suggests that esports athletes lead a healthy lifestyle and that the top 10 per cent of esports players are significantly more physically active than lower-level players.

The findings, first published on the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, were based on a sample size of 1,400 esports athletes from 65 countries and it is also the first study to investigate the BMI (Body Mass Index) status of a global sample of esports players.

More PlayStation 5 Units in Asian Markets After January 2021, Say Sources

The severe shortage of PlayStation 5 units in Asian markets may soon be resolved as Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is expected to produce between 16.8 and 18 million units in 2021.

According to a report by Digitimes and Gematsu, industry sources say SIE is currently prioritising North American and European markets.

After a series of gruelling matches featuring the world’s best teams, the prestigious PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) League came to a close last Sunday with Chinese team Four Angry Men (4AM) emerging as overall champions.
